Artist's Description
This tree is spectacular in its own right. It stands at the entrance of a path between two monoliths, almost as a marker. The tree has been basically the same as long as I've been coming to Arches NP, over twenty years.
Arches NP is located just a few minutes from Moab, UT.

A little about me: I became intrigued with photography when I was about eight years old, at that time photography was to capture what was, to see how things are. As the years went by, photography became a means to see more than a representation of reality. It became the tool to develop my vision. I wanted to see more than was there. At this point I’m using both film and digital, they are the same but different. I find that when I’m shooting I use both film and digital one for idealization of my subject and the other to see beyond the surface. When shooting film I'm working exclusive in Black & White (for the past few years). All my digital work starts in color but I almost always convert to Black & White (I mention this...
